Dror Harats, M.D. founded our company in 2000 and has served as our chief executive officer since January 2001. He has been a member of our board of directors since January 2001. Prof. Harats received his M.D. from Hadassah Medical School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, following which he conducted post-doctoral work at the University of California, San Francisco. Prof. Harats has also served as a visiting scientist at Syntax Discovery Research. Prof. Harats has more than 30 years of both research in the field of medicine and biotechnology as well as a professional and experienced consultant specializing in the biotechnology & pharmaceutical industry for healthcare organizations and companies. Prof. Harats currently serves on the board of directors of Art Healthcare Ltd, and as a part time chair of the R&D division at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer and as chair of its Institute Review Board. Prof. Harats is also a Professor of Medicine in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Biochemistry at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine of Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
