Gliobastoma
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common type of primary brain tumor. It is a very fast growing, highly malignant form of astrocytoma that can grow anywhere in the brain or spinal cord. Although GBM can occur at almost any age, it is most common in adults older than 50.
According to the U.S. National Cancer Institute, about 19,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with primary brain cancers each year.
VBL Therapeutics recently initiated a Phase 1/2 clinical trial in GBM
